Calling for help in an emergency should be the easy step. These are the commitments behind the number on this site, and the limits of them, stated in the same breath.
Someone answers, at any hour
The line on this site is answered 24 hours a day, every day of the year, holidays included. Damage does not keep business hours and neither does the phone.
Nothing to pay for being connected
There is nothing to pay here. No sign-up, no fee for the introduction, no charge if you decide not to go ahead at all.
Local, and cleared for the work
Every contractor on the other end of this line is independent, holds what Louisiana requires for this work — which in some trades is a licence and in others a registration — and serves Lafayette and the towns around it. Ask to see it, and the insurance certificate with it.
Not the right contractor? Call again
If the contractor you were connected to does not show, does not call back, or simply is not the right fit, call this number again and ask to be connected to someone else. There is no limit on that and no charge for it.
Where these commitments stop
This service does not stand behind the work, and it would be dishonest to suggest otherwise. The contractors are independent businesses; the quality of the job, and any guarantee on it, come from the contractor you hire.
